Welcome To Our Blog!

Hi everyone...and welcome to our new Real Estate Blog!

I started this blog to post the latest news in Real Estate for Jonesboro, Arkansas. I know there is a lot of blogs out there on this subject, therefore, my goal is to make this "the best" one around. Along with Real Estate news, our blog will also include tips on staging homes for sale, home improvements, financing information, photos of transformations, latest trends, my favorite recipes, and so much more. I want this blog to be fun and for readers to enjoy and revisit over and over. I would also like readers to share their real estate experiences, photos of "before" and "afters", favorite recipes and anything else they would like to share.

What I do not want is for this blog to be dull and boring. Even though we would love to have your business, it will not be a blog about how great we are and how you need to use our services.  However, since this is my first post, I'll start out to include a little information on the team, Smith & Conking. (You can read all about us by clicking here) I have been in Real Estate since 1995. I began my career in the Fort Worth, Texas area. My husband and I moved to Arkansas in 1999 and we love it here. Our son, Brent, is my team partner and has been selling and listing homes since 2005. I am the marketing specialist of the team and enjoy web and graphic design, which does give our sellers a competitive edge. I build custom websites for each of our listings. Why? To make our listings stand out from the competition. Each website is uniquely designed to tell a compelling story of the home making sure to help a buyer understand the character and value of the property.  I don't believe you can market a home the same as every other home. Like people, each home is different and has it's own unique features. And both sellers and buyers love them!

I love working both ends of real estate. I love to market homes for sale and finding someone that "perfect" house that will become their home is so rewarding.

Well enough for now and I look forward to sharing with you in the future!

Sheila
